
Leading the charge was none other than World No.1 Lara Cvjetko (CRO), who continued her golden streak in style. In the -70kg category, Lara claimed her fifth IJF World Tour Gold Medal, delivering another dominant performance that proves 2025 truly belongs to her. Meeting her in the final was Dena Pohl (GER), who impressed with another brilliant run to secure silver, her second IJF World Tour medal of the year in her new weight class.

Also turning heads was Helena Vukovic (CRO), who’s showing unstoppable consistency this season. With her fourth IJF World Tour medal of 2025, Helena proved yet again she’s one of the fiercest forces in the +78kg division, bringing home silver from Guadalajara.

In the men’s heavyweight action, Lukas Krpálek (CZE), the double Olympic and World Champion added another silver medal to his collection, following his gold in Lima, back-to-back Grand Prix finals on the Panamerican Tour! Sharing the +100kg podium was Martti Puumalainen (FIN), who made a long-awaited return to the top stage, securing bronze,his first Grand Prix medal since 2021!

Team Finland kept the momentum going strong. Eetu Ihanamäki (FIN) had a breakout weekend, powering through to his first-ever Grand Prix final and taking home a silver medal in the -81kg category.

His teammate Luukas Saha (FIN) followed up with another silver in the -66kg class, showing incredible grit and defeating European Champion Daikii Bouba (FRA) in golden score.

Consistency is key and Jorre Verstraeten (BEL) proved exactly that. Two weeks, two bronze medals! With his signature seoi-otoshi for ippon deep into golden score, Jorre delivered another brilliant performance and another trip to the podium.

The final medal of the weekend came from Ayumi Leiva Sanchez (ESP), who lived up to her top-seed status in the -52kg division. After a strong day of judo, she finished with a well-earned silver, another step forward in her steady rise through the ranks.
