Top-Stars at the EJU Judo Festival

CROATIA WELCOMED JUDOKA FOR THE 5TH EDITION OF THE JUDO FESTIVAL

In the past 10 days the annual EJU Judo Festival has taken place in the Croatian city of Porec.

Every year a great event for all Judoka

The Judo festival celebrates judo on all levels and includes camps for all age groups; kids and parents, U13, U15 and U18 as well as interesting seminars and courses, for instance the Kodokan kata seminar. 

The Judofestival combines everything! Not only does the event offer a great number of judo activitites but also the location on the beautiful Croatian coast is perfect for a possibility to combine training and beach time.

As well as being a judo "holiday" place, The Judo Festival also hosts an OTC. 

Top athletes from all over Europe, such as Teddy Riner, Lukas Krpalek, Khasan Khalmurzaev, Kirill Denisov, Krisztian Toth, Majlinda Kelmendi, Komronshokh Ustopiriyon and of course Croatian's own Barbara Matic made their way to Porec to train and prepare for the upcoming events.  

Also a lot of other National teams supported by IPPONGEAR, spent the week training in Croatia - Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark and of course, host nation Croatia, brought their athletes to Porec. 

For many of the athletes the next big event will also be in Croatia, as the first Grand Prix in the Olympic qualification cycle held on European ground, will be the Zagreb Grand Prix, 27-29 July. Stay tuned on results and insights.
