Traditionally, judoka wear a white judo suit, which consists of a judo jacket and a judo pant. The judo jacket is held together by a judo belt. In order to be able to better distinguish the two opponents in competitions, at national and international championships, but also in battles in the Judo Bundesliga, one of both judoka wear a blue judo uniform. If this is not possible, the fighters are distinguished by a red or white additional judo belt.
