Polleres secures second Olympic medal

On the fifth day of action at the Olympic Games in Paris, we had high expectations for our strong team in the category under 70 kg. One of the athletes who managed to exceed the expectations in style was Michaela Polleres, who was able to come away with her second Olympic medal.

Austria’s Michaela Polleres could be thrilled about capturing her second Olympic medal of her career: a bronze medal. The Tokyo Olympic Games runner-up came extremely close to a second consecutive Olympic final but narrowly lost out in the semi final. However, Polleres bounced back to win a bronze medal and add another Olympic medal to her impressive collection. As multiple European- and World- medalist and now also double Olympic medalist, Michaela Polleres has done it all.
