This weekend, another Olympic qualification event was held, this time, the Grand Prix in Budapest, Hungary. It was the biggest Grand Prix in IJF history, with 576 athletes attending and the second biggest event on the IJF World Tour. Especially the home crowd got lots to celebrate.

The first Junior European Cup out of four in July month was held in Gdynia, Poland. Participants from across the world took part in the competition as players from Australia and the United States were there.
The Cadet European Judo Championships was held this weekend in the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sarajevo. 457 athletes spread over 42 nations took part in the competition. The IPPONGEAR athletes took home one gold medal, two silver medals, and five bronze medals.
